☀️ Poetry will often follow rules of rhyme scheme, meter, and more; this one time middle school course will learn about these structures through studying Sonnet 18 by Shakespeare
☀️ Not only will students be introduced to one of the most famous poems of all time (Sonnet 18 by William Shakespeare), they will be challenged to understand it in both meaning and form.
🫶...☀️ Students will learn about the key elements of a sonnet including: ☀️ Line ☀️ Rhyme-scheme ☀️ Syllables ☀️ Meter ☀️ They will also be challenged to comprehend a beginners understanding of the central-text itself.
Bachelor's degree from Grace University Certification to Teach Secondary Students from the University of Nebraska at Omaha Endorsement in English/Language Arts from the University of Nebraska at Omaha ACE Educator Over 10 years of experience in various educational positions

☀️ Homework will not be assigned, however, class participation will be necessary! ☀️ Students will be encouraged to share their thoughts throughout. ☀️ Students will be provided with fill-in-the-blank notes to ensure no one gets left behind. ☀️ These notes will be filled in during class. ☀️ The central text will be shared on-screen so no link to 3rd party resources is necessary.提供的評估
