In this class we will use your child's knowledge of letters and their sounds to help us read and write! We will primarily focus on reading and spelling long vowel words with the consonant-le vowel pattern in this class through fun and engaging activities such as phonics bingo, picture/word sorts, reading decodable texts, and other literacy activities and games! In this class, students will practice reading words such as bubble, pickle, rubble, apple, startle, etc. Sample Class Structure: 1....

I am a certified teacher and have been teaching for 18 years. I am a reading specialist and have been trained in a variety of classes including the Orton-Gillingham approach.
Your child should have a dry erase board and markers. Paper and markers is fine.
