In this one time 30 minute class, I will assess your child's reading comprehension skills using a leveled text and having a comprehension discussion. The reading assessment will give information on your child's reading accuracy, fluency, and comprehension skills. I am a certified teacher and have been teaching for 18 years. I am a reading specialist and have been trained in a variety of phonics programs including the Orton-Gillingham approach. I also have experience leading guided reading or small group literacy groups to help students develop their reading comprehension skills.
Assessment
