As a certified Earth and Space Science teacher, I have over ten years of science instruction experience. Teaching oceanography is a true passion of mine, and I am enthusiastic and engaging in my instruction style. I've been selected by NASA to present on its behalf to other Earth and Space Science teachers and at national educator conferences. I know you'll love my course!

It is my mission to help students become lifelong learners. I develop a good rapport with each student with my sense of humor, enthusiasm, and the ability to relate scientific concepts to students' everyday lives. While many students enter my class thinking science is boring, it is rare that they leave still believing so. Learner progress will be evaluated through a variety of methods. These may include teacher questioning, warm-ups and exit tickets,  and other activities. While I will demonstrate labs and concepts for students, they will not be required to complete lab activities.
