Students will be able to accurately describe the interior layers of the Earth, plate tectonics, and the rock cycle. Students will be able to explain the causes of volcanoes, earthquakes, the rock cycle, and fossil formation.
As an Earth and Space Science teacher, I find rocks fascinating. Rocks are a geologic record of the Earth's history and I will bring the importance of geology to life! I love to find ways to incorporate humor into the classroom, so there may be a lame geology joke or two!
