Students will be able to learn about news as it happens, and discuss current events in a historically contextualized, unbiased course. 

The instructor has spent years working in a museum and explaining historic events to learners of all ages.  The instructor has a Bachelor's Degree in History, and minored in Political Science.  Educational work included classes on how political systems work, how voting systems work, how the government functions, and how international organizations interact with governmental entities.

The instructor will pull articles and information from news outlets that feature a centrist political view according to the AllSides Media bias chart, which can be found at the following link:

News outlets and articles that feature extreme left or right learning political views will not be used in class, and personal political views of the instructor and students will not be discussed under any circumstances .
