戴維斯女士的數學輔導

Students will be taught on their math level, any math topic they are struggling with at the current moment, or math topics they will be encountering before entering the next grade level for the 24-25 school year. This will give students an introduction to what they will see so they are prepared when they see it in their next classroom.

Topics covered will be 2nd to 5th grade mathematics - addition, subtraction, multiplication and division will be addressed during this private tutoring session. 

Students will use various methods such as games, worksheets shared on Zoom with the teacher, strategies taught by the teacher that students can use for each topic covered. These strategies will be different for each topic: 

Multiplication - equal groups, repeated addition, number lines and arrays.
Division - equal groups, repeated subtraction, number lines and arrays. 
Addition and Subtraction - number lines, old-school method, and methods they will see when they return to school. 

My teaching style is serious but fun! I like to play games and have discussions while keeping the learning environment serious. Students will interact with me via games, discussions, and PowerPoint slides which will include anchor charts and interactive YouTube videos.
