In this class, students will learn the stitches double crochet and how to increase. We will be making a baby size hat out of your choice of worsted weight yarn, but I recommend a wool blend. An example yarn link is provided below. Students will need to have knowledge of these beginning stitches, chain stitch, single crochet, and slip stitch. I offer a beginner washcloth class that teaches these stitches. The teacher will be using two cameras to show her hands crocheting and also her face on the main camera. Also a pattern will be provided for students to be able to follow along and learn to read a basic pattern as they learn to crochet. Parents: It is important that you are nearby to help those younger students, as the teacher is unable to offer the physical support for students because this is a virtual class.
