Welcome to Arts & Crafts Club! ⭐️Little artists will be able to bring out their creativity in this ongoing arts and crafts class! ⭐️Arts and crafts are inspired by seasons, nature, holiday's and books. Each class will include a craft with a book, activity or picture that is related to the craft! I try to use common materials you may have around your house, such as construction paper, paint, markers, crayons, chalk, play dough, cotton balls, tissue paper, etc. See supply list below for each...
Students will learn the following in Arts & Crafts Club for Creative Little Artists: • How to work with different materials and art tools used in art. • How to blend colors together and use of different shading. • Creating texture through various art materials such as tissue paper and salt. • Practice fine motor skills. • Engage in social skills by showing their art tools, talking about ideas and showing their art to their friends. • Learn about famous artists and their work. • Bring their creativity, imagination and ideas to their art.
• I am a certified and licensed early childhood and elementary teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. • I have taught preschool and elementary children full curriculum classes. • I have taught preschool, early childhood and elementary art classes. • I was involved in the art therapy program at a children's hospital. • I have designed and created several large children's events that involved art aspects.
A list of all the supplies for each craft will be added to the classroom each week. I try to use common materials you may already have (construction paper, paint, markers, crayons, chalk, cotton balls, tissue paper, etc.)
Please assist your child with using small craft items, scissors, glue and other materials. We use paint for some of our crafts. Please have an art smock or old t-shirt, if needed. Thank you!
