Welcome to Kickstart Arabic Reading class Level 2

This class has been designed to be engaging and interactive, starting with on-screen activities that encourage learners to name a set of letters. This approach helps build a strong foundation in recognizing and understanding the Arabic alphabet as well as boost self confidence.

Each lesson will then focus on a set of four words based on a theme, where learners will practice spotting missing letters, sounding out three-letter words with (Kasra & Damma), and have a go at reading them aloud. This exercise will help learners develop their phonetic awareness and improve their ability to recognize and read common Arabic words.

We will also work on a workshop paper each week, applying what they've learned to write and practice reading three-letter words. This practical exercise will help learners reinforce their understanding of the letters and their correct pronunciation. The workshop paper will also provide an opportunity for learners to practice their handwriting and get comfortable with the flow of Arabic script.

In addition to the workshop paper, an optional homework paper will be provided each week, allowing learners to further practice and recap the lesson. This extra practice will help solidify their knowledge and build confidence in recognizing letters' shapes.

New vocabulary will be introduced each week, learners will engage in an activity to practice the new vocabulary.

Weekly handout sheets will be sent out prior in the classroom. Learners will need to have pencils ,erasers and the printed handouts or a blank piece of paper.
