Hi

My name is Kerie Miller. I am an Early Literacy Tutor and a professional author/illustrator working in children's publishing and I work under the pen name Charlie Eve Ryan aka Mrs. Charlie. I have done projects for both trade books and educational publishers. Everything from picture books to board books and magazine spreads. I also do art workshops. Clients include Page Street Kids, Astra Publishing, Amicus Ink, McGraw Hill, as well as Highlights and Ladybug Magazines.

As an Early Literacy Tutor, I work for an online educational company where we work with children in charter schools all over the US. I work with children ages K-5nd grade. We help create future readers.

In the past, I have worked for a local school district as a substitute teaching assistant. I love to teach and interact with budding bookmakers, writers, and artists, while also helping students develop early math, reading, and English skills. 

My classes are a place for creatives to explore new ideas and build confidence in their maker skills. A place where art, words, and fun facts collide.
