改善溝通：發音和措辭練習和練習

Communication is an important element of life. Oral communication can be challenging for many people. Being able to articulate your thoughts, enunciate your opinions and have good diction all result in being able to get the words out of your mouth in a clear manner. It is a muscle that can be trained and worked on through exercise and practice. There is power in being able to communicate orally. There is a confidence that a person has when their words are understood. I created this class because I want young people to have that confidence and power. 

In this self-paced course, there are seven lessons for students to learn and practice articulation and diction drills and exercises. This course is full of repetition of various sounds, syllables, vowels, consonants, words and phrases. Every week students will be introduced to new drills and exercises in order to improve diction and articulation. Because this is a self-paced class, students will be able to rewatch the lessons to ensure they are saying the words correctly and repeat while they practice. All exercises will help with enunciation and diction.

This is a great course for anyone interested in acting, singing, broadcasting, joining a debate team, wanting to become more confident in speaking or just wanting to improve diction and articulation. No prior experience is needed. My approach and experience comes from an acting background and these are exercises that I do myself on a regular basis. 

Each class will have homework attached to it and ways to practice the exercises covered in each class. Through these activities, students will get a chance to practice on an ongoing basis.

The course is structured into weekly lessons, each focusing on a different exercise or drill that works toward improving articulation and diction. Students can progress at their own pace and complete the homework in between lessons for even more practice.

Students will receive a video lecture and a homework assignment with every lesson to complete throughout the course.

By the end of the course, students will have more confidence with their speech and have drills and exercises to practice for improvement with articulation and diction.
