This class will be longer than most of my classes. This is because of the amount of information that will be taught. In this class, learners will be taught how to write the body of an essay. I will teach the basic skills of defining an argument, using evidence and citing sources and then I will move to more detailed skills such as structure, topic sentences and transition words and phrases. I have taught in schools in Belgium and in the UK, and I have taught English online for six years.
This class is for any learner but if the learner does not know what a topic sentence is, my class on topic sentences may be advisable before this class.
