The topics covered in this class will be an introduction to making egg rolls from scratch using ingredients that most people have at home like pork, shrimp or chicken and cabbage/carrots. This class requires no prior skills. While rolling the egg rolls we will discuss modifications we can make for sweet egg rolls or breakfast egg rolls. Recipe makes 8 servings 1 pound ground pork/chicken or tofu/meat substitute,1 teaspoon ground ginger,1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 quart peanut oil or canola for frying, 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour,2 tablespoons water, 2 cups shredded cabbage, 2 ounces shredded carrots, 8 (7 inch square) egg roll wrappers
