如何畫出逼真的貓眼

In this one-hour class, students will work step-by-step to create a realistic pencil drawing of a cat's eye. Although some experience with drawing would be great, it is not required, as I will be walking you through every step of this process. This class will briefly discuss drawing paper, pencils, and other tools that can be used to enhance a young artist's skills. 

We will work on proportion, create depth with layering, shading and blending, and have fun while learning it all! I am a very outgoing teacher, and never want students to feel intimidated by what we are learning. My way of teaching is to draw along with my students. I will discuss what we are going to do, then encourage them to draw with me. We want to complete the entire eye during our session, so I will need to make sure we move along at a steady pace, however, if students voice that they need more time on a certain area, I will make sure to listen to that. 

Our goal is the cat's eyeball, and if we are able to explore hair strokes and add some cat hair after completing the eye, even better! This is a stress-free environment. Drawing has always been very therapeutic for me, and I want to make sure my students are enjoying themselves while enhancing their drawing skills. I believe that practice makes progress, instead of "practice makes perfect" - progress over perfection is the ultimate goal.
