I encourage each parent to research each book to make sure it is a fit for your child and family. All sensitive topics will be discussed with respect. This rule is not negotiable. Respectful discussion is mandatory.

As a certified teacher, we sometimes have to discuss tough and dark issues . This topic will be discussed with the respect and dignity. 1984 George Orwell's thought-provoking novel 1984 covers the themes of dehumanization, isolation, repression, loneliness, social class disparity, and abuse of power. These topics will be discussed in a respectful manner. Lord of the Flies "Lord of the Flies is a 1954 novel by Nobel Prize-winning British author William Golding. The book focuses on a group of British boys stranded on an uninhabited island and their disastrous attempt to govern themselves.
