Join us for an exciting and interactive class where we'll dive into delightful kids' stories, including enchanting tales from Chinese culture, holiday adventures, and many other fun stories! In this class, you’ll: * Watch and Listen to a captivating story. * Learn Practical Mandarin Phrases that you can use in everyday life. * Speak Mandarin confidently at your own pace! * Get creative by drawing or writing key characters and phrases (if time allows). ~ Taught by a friendly native Mandarin speaker, this class combines both English and Mandarin Chinese to help you learn in a comfortable and engaging environment. ~ You’ll have opportunities to participate by saying the correct sentences and practicing your new language skills. ~ Whether you’re a beginner or already familiar with Mandarin, you’ll feel encouraged to speak and learn at your own level. ~ Let’s have fun, learn, and explore the beauty of Mandarin together!

My name is Vivien. I grew up in Taiwan. Mandarin Chinese is my first language. I studied in Australia and the U.S.A. so I know how it feels to learn a second language. I have been a Mandarin Chinese teacher, translator, interpreter and an advisor for international students. I love teaching Mandarin Chinese and my experiences help me to help my students reach their goals smoothly and happily.
One of my supervisors made a comment about my teaching style: “Hi Vivien, I really enjoyed watching you teach! You spoke clearly and covered unit's content. You were patient, encouraging and professional. You gave clear corrections and praised student throughout the session.
