與貝爾夫人一起準備 ELA 州考試！

In this 4 week class, students will meet twice a week to go over ELA test strategies. Students will learn how to take ELA state test, strategies to help them do their best, and practice taking old ELA state test. This is to help students who are taking state test or a similar test. Testing can cause a lot of anxiety and with test prep they will learn to RELAX and practice their strategies so they can do their best on their state test. 

My class will begin by learning or reviewing a test strategy for the week. We will then practice the strategies on old state test questions. I do encourage participation in all my classes! 

I am a 4th grade NYS teacher, so most of my test will be old NYS test. These strategies can be used on any type of test. So your child does not have to live in NYS to take this class. These strategies will help them on any test they take. 

Week 1: Practice being close readers (reading and rereading) 
Week 2: Examine all multiple choice (X out wrong answers)
Week 3: Labeling your answers (highlighting evidence) 
Week 4: Double checking your work! (review all strategies)
