WELCOME TO THE DESERT! In this 5 week course, students will join the teacher in an interactive, hands on learning environment to learn about the desert and some species that live there! This class will be taught using pictures and slides with a high energy, engaging teacher. We use playdough during every class to make one creation to further our learning along with using our bodies to act things out. There is also a small printable watercolor workbook students will receive via PDF that we will use during class. This class includes basic writing skills but students don't need to know how to read to participate in this course.

-2 STEM homework projects that include sharing with the class

My teaching style is very high energy, fun and enthusiastic. I encourage learners to answer questions or share often. I do however leave all learners on mute though to prevent background noise and to limit shouting out answers. I give everyone a turn or multiple turns each class if they wish to participate!  

*Age range is flexible but is best suited for ages 5-8.*
