This class is all about being creative! Learners will brainstorm what makes a great candy - then they will design their own! Literacy component: Learners make their own jot notes about their candy as well as a summary and description at the end (see note below) Communication: Learners will present their candy to the group orally Art: Students will create their candy by either sketching, drawing, painting or using play-doh (based on learning interests/materials available) This class covers multiple subjects and allows learners to take charge of their own creation. **Please Note - Learners do not need to share their jot notes/written portion, and it is optional. If they would like to just go straight to the designing portion and then share their design at the end that is great! If time permits we will read, "Fairy Floss - The Sweet Story of Cotton Candy" by Ann Ingalls
