Welcome to Lego Math! This class will work on the introduction/review of common math concepts (addition, subtraction, regrouping, place value etc.,) while encouraging students to use math manipulatives to build structures and be creative! An activity sheet will be available in the classroom prior to class to download. This is optional and not usually used in class but great for follow up work with the math manipulatives. A variety of single lego pieces will be needed for this class as well - we use around 40-50 pieces at most. I will also try to make sure all lego pieces are picked up after class, so that no one steps on them :)
