In this short workshop for young writers, I will be going over a bunch of tips and tricks as to how to create a character to use in stories. Often, students have big ideas for a character, but are discouraged from writing because it's hard to decide exactly how to make that character seem "real". This is a one-time class, so these tips can be revisited anytime. Mainly, students will learn some valuable tools as to how to develop a character that any reader would easily get attached to. I...
