Each class is designed to boost mental math skills and build confidence through interactive and play-based learning. Lessons include mental math visuals, strategy reviews, and hands-on activities like games, songs, and guided practice, all aimed at making math fun and memorable. With 30 years of experience teaching math, I incorporate the best practices to ensure learners not only grasp key concepts but retain them for future success. My teaching style is hands-on and authentic, using real-life situations to create meaningful connections. Through a combination of slides, virtual manipulatives, and engaging activities, I act as a math coach guiding your child every step of the way. This class is designed to meet various learning needs through an active, hands-on approach to math. Students engage in play-based activities, with me as their coach, guiding them at their own pace. Numeracy brain breaks are included.
