與莫里斯夫人一起製作工藝品：企鵝！

In this class we will be making an adorable penguin. As a teacher I love to have my students learn about the craft we are doing. We will have a slideshow to learn fun facts about penguins. For the craft, we will cut out a black oval shape for the body. We will then cut out a white heart shape for the face/body, & orange hearts for the beak and feet. To easily cut out our hearts, we will fold our paper in half and cut out a half shape of a heart. When the paper is unfolded, we will have a full symmetrical heart. These pieces will all be glued together, and then we will glue on our two googly eyes.

Learners will need to know how to use scissors and glue. If time allows, we will play a fun game at the end of class.

*In my craft/art classes no experience is necessary. I let learners know that each of us are unique artists therefore our art will not look identical. I encourage individual style and that we can embrace our art even if there are imperfections.*
