In this one time live class, students will learn about the characteristics of mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds. This class is teacher led, using pictures and slides. Students will have the opportunity to share with the class what their favorite animal is, and we will talk about which type of classification it belongs to. We will finish the class with a game, to reinforce what the students have learned. Come learn about animal science in a fun, engaging format! I believe that students learn better with relaxed and fun lessons.

I am Mrs V, as my classroom students call me. I teach phonics, grammar, science, math, and music classes. I am licensed to teach kindergarten through 6th grade. I also have a minor in music. I taught preschool for 6 years and I did student teaching in kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th grades. I have worked part time in the public school system for the last 5 years. I homeschool my two youngest children and enjoy finding fun new ways to teach things. I also teach ESL classes online. I believe that including the student's interests into the lesson engages the learning and makes learning fun and more easily attainable. Fun, hands on activities and games provide an engaging learning environment. My hobbies are animals (I live on a small farm), music (I minored in music), reading and crocheting.
