Welcome to the 2nd to 3rd Grade Math Summer Bridge Program!  In this 10-week course, our goal is to ensure a seamless transition between 2nd and 3rd-grade math, making learning engaging and fun.

Get ready for an exciting exploration of math concepts! We'll cover fundamental arithmetic with a focus on addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Dive into problem-solving strategies, basic geometry, an introduction to fractions, and explore concepts of time and money – building a strong foundation for success in 3rd grade and beyond.

Explore key topics, with one week dedicated to each:
- Week 1-2: Mastering addition and subtraction with regrouping
- Week 3-4: Understanding multiplication and division basics
- Week 5-6: Exploring geometric shapes and their properties
- Week 7-8: Introducing the concept of fractions through interactive activities
- Week 9: Concepts of time and practical applications
- Week 10: Understanding the basics of money 

How is your class structured? 🏫
Our class meets twice a week for 10 weeks, offering a consistent and engaging learning experience. Each session incorporates interactive activities, collaborative exercises, and lively discussions to reinforce concepts and ensure a solid foundation for mathematical growth. We will use Nearpod and Kahoot throughout the session. Students should have access to a computer or tablet for optimal participation.
