Students get excited about writing personal narratives! Each day class will begin with a writing lesson and demonstration. Students will engage in activities to practice the skills, and write their own stories. At the end of the week, their stories will be "published" in the classroom. I love teaching children how to write! I have a master's degree from the School of Education at Northwestern University and a certificate to teach English as a foreign language from Georgetown University. I was a primary teacher in international schools, and started an afterschool literacy program for children ages 4-11. I have been teaching children how to read and write for more than 15 years!
