수업 소개
Welcome friends! Do you ever turn red? I know that I do! In this class students get to dive into the world of Turning Red. First, we will get to share our favorite parts from the movie and get to hear a little bit about adorable red pandas and what makes them so cool. Next, we will be discussing what animal we would like to change into when we feel different emotions and why. We will be able to learn from our new friends and understand that none of us are ever alone and feeling different emotions and being ourselves is what makes us the people we are meant to be. Sometimes we all need some time alone so students will be creating their own cool door hangers they can hang on their doors and will show off their amazing individual creativity. (Printable is available after registration.) These will show off each child's personality and show that they are awesome just how they are! While creating students will get to hear the story Turning Red and hear an upbeat 4*Town song from the movie. If students would like to sing or dance while the song is playing they are encouraged to do so and show their personality. My classes are fun, high energy, engaging and low pressure. Students are always welcome to participate as much or as little as they like. I strive to keep the classroom a positive environment for everyone involved.

-Door hanger printable from class printed on card stock or regular paper *If it is on regular paper you can glue it to card stock or card board at a later date to be more durable. *If you do not have a printer you can draw one on paper or card stock. -Markers, crayons, stickers or any other embellishments you would like to use.

Welcome!
When students are interested in what they are doing, learning they will WANT to learn! I hope that your students will love to learn and become lifelong learners. I want all children to feel comfortable, engaged, encouraged and have fun in my classes I have worked with students from ages 0-14 for over 20 years. I have held several other jobs than teaching which I adored but at this point this is my passion.
My teaching experience comes from multiple sources. Online I have taught thousands of children overseas to learn English through VIPKid. VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) is known for their vigorous standards and training. I have also taught for an elite online program, called Synthesis. Synthesis is an elite program created by the one of the founders of Ad Astra. (Ad Astra is the school that Elon Musk created at SpaceX.) I have also taught thousands of children right here on Outschool since 2020.
Offline teaching experience comes from teaching at a Montessori pre-school, teaching swim and gym classes, summer camps and Sunday school. I also have taught students with a wide range of mental and physical abilities. All students are welcome in my classes and I am willing to make accommodations if requested.
My education consists of a BA in psychology, a BA in Conflict Resolution, TESL, TEOFL, over 40 online teaching certificates, mental health first aid certification, and palliative care certification.
I have two children who are everything to me. I homeschool them and we love going on adventures together. In my spare time I love travelling, baking, camping, Disney, swimming, the beach, water activities, working out, reading and all things full of sparkle and glitter! You can always find me taking a course or earning some kind of certificate.
