This is a fast-paced class filled with hands-on ukulele playing and giggles! ♪ This is an ongoing course for beginners ukulele students; we will learn the basic of ukulele playing and build on student's skills: learning to play beginners chords, simple strumming patterns and rhythms while learning new songs each week. ♪ Please note that I welcome beginner ukulele students as well as children who have never played the ukulele before. ♪ If you want to, please check out my Absolute Beginners Ukulele Class before joining this course: https://outschool.com/classes/1-2-ready-play-absolute-beginners-uke-xJlSzd63?sectionUid=71fc6606-4834-4791-b26c-1383f9a95799&showDetails=true ♪ Students will improve their musical abilities, in general, and will also learn: - how to play the ukulele, sing and strum at the same time; - how to hold a ukulele; - correct playing position; - proper hand position; - how to count and play chords (C Major and F major, Am, G7); - how to strum. Other skills children will learn in this class: - strum at different tempos (fast and slow) - strum with different dynamics: loud, quiet, from quiet to loud building momentum; - how to follow chord patterns (with animals and colours for children who can't read yet); - how to play multiple songs
♪ My name is Bella and I have been a teacher for 20 years. I love teaching music, guitar and ukulele to young children because it gives them a way to FIND who they are, to EXPRESS their feelings, emotions and thoughts and to LET IT GO! ♪ I have found that young children love playing musical instruments, making up their own songs, creating rhythmic patterns and learning a new musical instrument through story-type lessons. I am building each new lesson on their interests and passion, aiming not only to teach them a skill, but to develop a life-long LOVE for music, to SING, CREATE and PLAY the songs from their hearts! ♪ My classes are fun, interactive, small groups of children where each child finds their voice and shines bright! Practising 5 minutes a day will help with the development of the hand and fingers and strengthen the muscles required to play the ukulele and press on the frets. Students can practise the strumming techniques and the chords discussed in class. The teacher will share digital copies of the songs that we learn during our classes so students can practise those songs as well.제공되는 평가
Each Student will be informally assessed by the teacher during each lesson and will be given pointers on what to practise, how to correct or what to modify so their playing technique improves with each session.제공되는 성적

등록 시 1개의 파일을 볼 수 있어요.- Please bring to the class small stickers (like the ones used for sticker charts: circles and stars): we need a red circle and a red star and a green/bright green circle one. - Please make sure that students need to have a TUNED ukulele for each class. Please make sure you tune your ukulele for this class. Here is a video explaining how to tune the ukulele: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VOuRBjmzAM&t=9s - Learners can use a pick, but it is not compulsory; I actually recommend the use of fingers for strumming/picking. - In order for me to give feedback and see clearly the learner while playing their instrument, please make sure you position the learners, so I can see their BOTH hands when playing, head to the waist, in a well-lit room (the light coming from their front, not from the back). The young learner can sit on the floor, with their legs crossed. If they are joining from an iPad/laptop, they can also be on the floor or a little stool, it can point straight or downwards. - Please note that the learner can't sit on an armchair as this will restrict the way their instrument needs to be positioned and also restricts the movement of the learner's arms. A chair with no arms, or a stool are recommended. BOTH learner's feet should be on the floor, not hanging. - Please feel free to send me a message if you have any questions or concerns. - The teacher will provide the songs and other files (strumming and chords sheets); - Ukulele (Soprano or Concert Standard tuning G C E A) - Ukulele Tuner App
