슈퍼 스펠링 펀 - 규칙 및 니모닉 Nearpod 레슨

Spelling can be so confusing with so many rule-breakers.  I have privately tutored many children in spelling.  It has been very successful and I have had many parents leave feedback and private messages letting me know how much their child has improved in their school work.  I decided to turn my lesson into group lessons and offer them as an ongoing course.  This way, you don't need to pay private tutoring fees to take the class.  

Does your child need to learn the spelling rules to help them with their spelling?  During this class, students will learn to spell using interactive NearPod lessons that will teach them the spelling rules and also how to use mnemonics to remember those tricky words.  I love using Nearpod because it allows the child to be more interactive during their lesson.

NearPod is an outside app that may be downloaded for easy access with a PIN. However, I will also share the link in the classroom before class and through the Zoom chat. Sometimes, I will also share my screen for students to see what I am doing. While in the NearPod app, I am able to see what the students are doing on each slide while they work. I control the movement to each slide which keeps all learners together on the same slide. It is a wonderful learning app for teachers to use. 

The class will be twenty-five minutes long.  During this time a new rule will be introduced.  Then there will be a variety of activities that will help reinforce the spelling rule.  Each week we will have a short review of the rule from the week before covering new territory.  Students will have the opportunity to learn the rule.  They will apply what they have learned by joining in the different activities that I have for them within the NearPod lesson.  They will play games, proofread, fill in the blanks, and other new and exciting activities to make learning the spelling rules more exciting.

My goal is to make learning how to spell a memorable experience where they find themselves having fun while learning the rules for spelling.
