In this class students will be introduced to Joseph Campbell's famous "Hero's Journey" story structure. This universal story structure was derived from Campbell's studies of world literature, folk tales, and ancient epics and is still used in literature and film today. Using slides and a worksheet, I will lead the students through the structure illustrating them with Star Wars: A New Hope.
