This is an introductory class to help parents and students become familiar with Outschool before deciding on a weekly commitment. It also provides the opportunity for students to get to know me and decide if they would like to continue with further instruction. I am a lifelong, self- taught artist, beginning at a very young age. I received 3 years of advanced art instruction in secondary school. My experience includes selling my work in an art gallery which I owned and operated. I continue to be privately commissioned and give pieces as gifts. Prior to retiring from working in special education, I applied my skills in the form of art therapy for behaviorally challenged children in the classroom setting.
