Beginner - Advanced Level
**Please message me if you don't see a time that fits. I will open one for you, if possible** This is a private one on one ongoing conversational ESL class. The class is suitable for all levels, as I will adjust it to fit the student's current level! Please send me a message if you are unsure whether your learner would be a good fit, I would be happy to help:) I also offer a one-time version of this class, if you would like to try it out before signing up for the ongoing. I have over 10+ years of teaching experience and 5 years living and teaching English abroad to young children, as well as, adults ranging in English speaking skills. I am TEFL certified and I lived and taught in South Korea for three years, I have also taught Chinese students, and many other ESL students here in the US as well. My classes aim to be very laid back, full of conversations and a sprinkle of fun activities. The topics for this class will differ based on the flow of the conversation. I aim to keep the conversations on topics that are of interest to the student. I will correct their grammar and pronunciation as I see fit, but I also do not plan on correcting every single error, as that can make the student feel less confident and resistant to speaking. I want this to be a comfortable and fun environment where they can practice their English speaking skills. The ongoing format will make it possible for the student to slowly acclimate to the teacher , making them more comfortable and relaxed each session, which is one of the goals. Example of topics we may talk about: Introductions - How to introduce yourself Our favorites Would you rather? This vs that Anything of interest to the student On days that we plan to do an activity, I will post an announcement on the classroom page with the supplies required - usually just some paper, color pencils, print out of a worksheet, etc. #confidence

I have been teaching for over 15 years, with extensive experience working with ESL learners from around the world, including students from Latin America, Europe, Asia, and Africa. I’ve taught learners of all ages and levels—ranging from young children to adults—and have a strong track record of helping students grow in fluency and confidence.
I am TEFL certified and spent several years living and teaching in South Korea, where I worked with both young learners and adults in classroom and private tutoring settings. In addition to my international experience, I’ve also taught ESL learners here in the United States, both online and in person.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in a wide variety of settings—one-on-one lessons, group classes, public and private schools, and virtual platforms—and I specialize in creating supportive, engaging, and conversational learning environments. My culturally diverse teaching background allows me to easily connect with students and adapt my teaching style to meet individual needs and learning goals.
