In these private tutoring sessions for students learning English, learners will receive help with conversation, with brief academic practice as needed. These are 30-minute sessions focused on conversation practice and language mechanics.

In these 30-minute, one-to-one sessions, students will be given help with English conversation and if desired and as time permits, with reading and writing, tailored to fit the learner’s circumstances and needs. I will work with your child to practice conversational English and the academic vocabulary your child needs to understand for school. I can also focus on irregular verbs and other English challenges. Students will practice conversational English to become more fluent in speaking. They will also gain practice in academic vocabulary and grammar, as needed.
I have been an English teacher in public, private, parochial, and charter schools for the last 12 years and have been teaching altogether for 20-plus years in the New Orleans and Metro Atlanta area. I have been an English department chair and have guided countless students to improve their English skills. I strive to create a sense of rapport and trust with my students.
