In this 20 minute relaxing class, young learners will participate in a series of stretches and yoga moves to relax their mind and body before the start or end of their day. Perfect for those with short attention span!

Class Experience

Students will engage in a relaxing yoga and stretching morning/bedtime routine, to get them ready to start their day or to wind down for the night.  I will model various poses and stretches for the students to follow along with. This class is perfect length for fidgety learners, it will keep their attention for the duration of the class!
The class starts with a quick introduction where we meet each other. This will be followed by me modeling a pose for the students, teaching the relevant vocabulary words, and then all of us doing it together. We will also be practicing breathwork during our time together. 
My teaching style is very laid back and I am able to build rapport with students very easily. 
The learners will get the chance to interact with me during the whole class. I will correct their form as they do their stretches, if needed, and praise them as we go along. They will also be able to ask me questions at the end of the class. They are welcome to post anything they wish to ask in the discussion forum in between classes:)
The students need zero experience to be able to participate in this class. This is perfect for beginners, as well as those that are more advanced, as it is focused on relaxation. I will show variations of poses, depending on the skill levels of the learners.

Other Details

Parental Guidance
It would be best for the students to have an open space with a yoga mat to be able to take full advantage of this class. We will be doing lots of stretching which will require open space. Students should have a water bottle nearby. Shoes and socks are optional, barefoot is okay for this class. The students may stretch before class but it is not required.
