- LEARNING GOALS: to be covered at learner’s pace --Identify and apply effective reading strategies for different types of texts. --Analyze and interpret texts at a deeper level, including identifying literary devices and themes. --Meet text analysis expectations for the classroom and formal assessments. --Develop critical thinking skills to evaluate and draw conclusions from texts. --Summarize and synthesize information from multiple sources. --Build vocabulary and improve language skills. --Further develop an appreciation for reading, writing, the classics, and issues that impact Shivank and his peers.

No supplies will be needed except for the assignments Shivank may be working on at that time. Having already taken previous courses of mine and ELA, Shivank may receive updated handouts to reinforce and better explain covered skills.
