수업 소개
Are you looking for a fun class to help your child get moving and burn some energy? This is a great class for that! I am a preschool teacher with over 10 years experience and lot of fun songs under my belt! I love to move, dance and be silly with the kids! This class will start by giving each student a chance to introduce themselves. We will then sing and move to some teacher directed songs. These songs often give students a certain move to do (ex - hop like bunnies) and we move through the different motions. Students will also be able to play games like simon says, freeze dance and more! If time remains at the end of class, students will be able to pick a song off of my song cards to sing as a group. The main goal of this class is to get up and moving and is great for yucky weather days! *Please note - for this class, the more friends we have, the better! Invite a friend to join class with you!

Students will use many gross motor skills during this class (running, hopping, marching, etc). Students will use direction following skills as they follow along with the songs and the instructions given. Most of all, students will have fun!

During this class, students will be participating in light movement and exercise activities. Students will need plenty of room to do these activities safely. Parental guidance suggested during these activities. Students may also do some light stretching prior to class and bring a water bottle with them to class.

Hello! My name is Lauren and I am excited to be teaching here on Outschool! I am looking forward to teaching early childhood development classes - preschool math, literacy, social skills and more! I have worked with children/students of all ages. My primary focus is with young children as I have a bachelors degree in elementary education (prek - 4th) which I obtained through Grand Canyon University. I have spent the last 10 years working in an early childhood development center, primarily working with children ages 2-4. During these last 10 years I have developed and implemented curriculum across many content areas. Aside from teaching, I am a color guard instructor at both the middle and high school levels.
I think learning is all about having fun, especially with the younger children! My experience of running an early childhood classroom will aide me in providing fun and engaging lessons here on Outschool as well!
When I am not coaching or teaching, I am busy being a wife and a mom! My husband and I have a seven year old son who is currently in second grade and an infant daughter. My older son is very involved in sports, which means I am too! I also enjoy reading, journaling, and watching tv.
