This class is all about the American Girl Doll Samantha Parkington! Students will be able to explain about the Victorian era, and why 1904 was called the Victorian Era. Students will be able to explain the progress that was happening in 1904, including factories. Students will be able to explain the women's suffrage movements. Finally, students will be able to identify what life was like for a child growing up in America in 1904.
I already taught this class for my daughter's homeschooling co-op class, and It was very well received! My children love American Girl Dolls and their books. I love teaching History, so it is a perfect match!
