Students will learn how to build a detailed 3D apartment and furnish it! Each lesson will begin by learning new SketchUp tools. I will be going over each new tool, how it works, and what it will be used for in regards to the 3D apartment model. The completed apartment should be submitted to the Outschool classroom. The Student may submit up to 3 houses or objects on which to receive feedback. I look forward to seeing all of the wonderful creations.

Introduction to SketchUp
Student will learn how to bring in the floorplan and build the floors and walls of the apartment.
Student will practice with each tool that is introduced.
Student will learn architectural vocabulary and how it applies to the apartment. 레슨2:

Student will learn to create a component.
Student will show that they know how to manipulate and create a variety of objects. 레슨3:
Furnishing - Interior Design
Student will learn how to build and where to find furnishings for their apartment.

Hello! My name is Jan and I am so excited to work with your child. I have a Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University in Graphic Design and 20 years of experience working with children in the classroom. I am TESOL certified and have been teaching online for the last year. Before teaching online, my husband and I owned a S.T.E.A.M. Innovation Center where we taught camps and classes. I am excited to bring these camps and classes to Outschool. I love working with children. My favorite thing to do is to play games with my kids. I have three children. Mason is 16 and a wonderful musician, Grant is 10 and loves science, Emily is 7 and loves climbing and running. I am looking forward to having fun with your child in my classroom.
