Grade Level: Middle School (6th-8th Grade) This class is a 30-week course, 3 times a week. Teaching will include class discussions, lectures with slides, videos, learning games and activities, worksheets, and group projects. The class meets three times each week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays for 30 weeks. Each class will with an opener and discussion about the lesson, followed by a literature discussion, convention lesson and a writing skill will be taught with a worksheet or project relating to the concept assigned for homework. The class will using books for the class reading, stories for comprehension and literacy skills, or writing comprehension notebooks/ loose-leaf paper to enhance the learning environment experience.
