This class is by request only.  It is as a one-time drop in tutoring class, but multiple sessions can be arranged and booked ahead.  The class focus is to provide a customized program to meet individual learner needs.  Instruction may be in: sentence  formation, paragraph writing, and fiction and informational text structures.  Students may also receive support with reading strategies and text analysis.  Learners may also request help with homework, support with projects,  or extra practice in a specific area.  Students from grades 1-6 can receive one on one support in any area of English Language Arts.  The sessions will include instruction in the desired area, practice questions, review, and games to reinforce learning.   Prior to the tutoring session, learners are encouraged to provide the topic or area where assistance/instruction is required.   Learners are encouraged to provide copies of  homework, projects, or review materials.
