Learners will use their multiplication skills to decode the punchline of one joke. Each letter of the words of the punchline will be a multiplication problem. The answer to the multiplication problem codes to a letter, then letters to words, then words to the punchline of the class joke. I have had students in the public and private school setting K-12 for over 25 years. I was an elementary public school teacher for 1st and 3rd grades for several years. I then taught 4th and 5th grades in private school for over a decade. I homeschooled my own children for several years through a local hybrid school. Currently, my time is spent in the private school setting teaching mathematics to middle and high school students, 7-12. I hold a current Master of Arts in Education degree from a large university in the state of Missouri.
