Help your learner remember many skills with this review class. Mixed math concept review will be presented like math box work on slides for advanced upper elementary and middle school learners. Learners will review an example with guidance and then an individual practice problem for five or more middle school math skills in review for each class. Learners will review or challenge themselves to learn about major middle school math concepts presented in a guided and easy to understand format. Puzzles and logical thinking will be mixed in throughout the presentations periodically. Use this class to keep prior skills sharp and to introduce new skills your learner may have not experienced yet.
I have had students in the public and private school setting K-12 for over 25 years. I was an elementary public school teacher for 1st and 3rd grades for several years. I then taught 4th and 5th grades in private school for over a decade. I homeschooled my own children for several years through a local hybrid school. Currently, my time is spent in the private school setting teaching mathematics to middle and high school students, 7-12. I hold a current Master of Arts in Education degree from a large university in the state of Missouri.
