In this self-paced class, students learn all about bilateral symmetry, radial symmetry, and asymmetry found in nature. With every video lesson, I show students real world examples then we model with clay or play doh. Every video lesson provides a way to model the concept with or without cookie cutters. Every lesson also includes a unique printable worksheet for students to draw the type of symmetry they learned about. I do not teach with slideshow lectures. For every lesson (three lessons total) I show animal models and then use clay to reinforce concepts. Video lessons are each between 3-7 minutes in length. 1) Clay, play doh, or home-made dough 2) An assortment of cookie cutters highly recommended, not mandatory (alternatives to cookie cutters given for every lesson if students don't have them) 3) Plastic knife or other kid-safe knife 4) Rolling pin, jar, or can to roll clay flat
