I began my teaching in 1983 teaching in an advanced K5 class. My first solo class was an advanced K5 class. I trained in phonics at Pensacola Christian College, the home of ABeka, and in ABC's of ACE. I taught phonics and reading for years in the classroom, before taking into the tutoring field. I have been tutoring in phonics and reading for 15 years.

Assessments will be given every 6 weeks based upon the student 's ability to learn the song and sound for each letter sound. They will receive a certificate with their name and the letter sounds they learned. As they progress, they will be assessed on blending and reading basic CVC and CCVC words.Grades Offered
