This course is individually designed to meet the needs of each individual student. I am able to support with filling gaps, teaching new concepts, or practicing already learned skills. My goal is for your student to be successful and confident with their abilities in math. I have vast experience working with students in grades K-5 (including homeschooling my own children). I can provide support for any range of math abilities at the elementary level. If you are able, please send me information regarding your wants and needs for your student in math. Then, during our first session, I will get to know your student and gather additional information. This will include collecting data on their current knowledge and understanding of different math concepts. Based on the information collected, I will provide individualized instruction to meet the student's math needs. Each week may look different depending on student needs. Sessions will often build upon concepts, explore new concepts, review previously covered topics, and/or solidify current math skills. Please reach out with questions or scheduling requests.

Pencil and paper OR whiteboard and dry-erase marker. Additional supplies may be needed based on the student's needs. I will communicate accordingly if necessary.

Hello, my name is Mrs. Smith! I am a licensed K-6 educator with a Masters in Linguistically Diverse Education K-12. I have 17+ years of teaching experience (including full-time classroom, tutoring, reading intervention, homeschool programs, and coaching teachers)! Currently, I enjoy homeschooling my children and teaching online!
Kids are some of my favorite individuals. They are full of life with kind hearts, and are a joy to work with! In my classroom, you can count on an individualized approach to instruction. I love getting to know students and developing instruction to best meet their needs. My approach to teaching is to keep things simple (with high expectations), focused, and engaging.
My family has big dreams of traveling across the US in our RV! We are looking forward to incorporating our travels into our homeschool curriculum.
