In this weekly class we will fly around the world and learn about the different continents and countries! Each weeks lesson will have a theme that we will explore in depth; continents and oceans, wonders of the world, and landmarks from around the world. Students will learn when, why, and how each of these special landmarks were created, as well what makes them so special! Students will learn to identify the 7 continents, as well as the 5 oceans around the world. We will also discuss different animals that can be found on each continent. They will learn to identify both the man-made, natural, and ancient wonders of the world. They will learn explore amazing landmarks found in each continent.
Maps or other handouts may be provided in the classroom. Please print the map so that the student can colour it in the lesson. Please also have colouring materials, like pencil crayons or markers handy.
