Children are welcome to dress up in their pajamas. We will begin with show & tell. 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮! I will narrate an abbreviated version of the Polar Express. As I narrate, I will be showing children movements so they can act out what is happening. I will also incorporate songs during the story where we can dance! I will provide suggested movements, but children are encouraged to move however they like and however is comfortable. They are also not required to dance if they don't like! There also may be the occasional Polar Express trivia question! How many can you get right? Then it's time to settle in with hot chocolate! 𝑾𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝒂𝒅𝒖𝒍𝒕 𝒔𝒖𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒐𝒏, 𝒘𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒂 𝒔𝒍𝒐𝒘 𝒄𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒆𝒓. 𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒍𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒉𝒐𝒕 𝒄𝒉𝒐𝒄𝒐𝒍𝒂𝒕𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒘𝒂𝒚, 𝒐𝒓 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒍. Learners will practice communication and public speaking skills with show & tell. Students will learn about measurements and enhancefine motor skills when making hot chocolate. They will improve their listening skills by hearing the story and directions. They will improve their coordination skills through movement and dancing. They will feel confident and empowered by being encouraged to use their own movements to participate in class.

If parents or guardians choose to make hot chocolate with a slow cooker, supervision is an absolute must. Slow cooker and ingredients should be in a safe area with no hazards. None of these materials should be on the floor.
When it is time to dance, children will need a space to move around and dance. The space should be free of object on the floor or anything they can bump into. This is to avoid injuries or falls.They will need appropriate shoes (no sandals, flip flops or heels). They also need a bottle of water.

List of ingredients for making hot chocolate in a slow cooker: -milk -half & half -sugar (or another sweetener of choice) -chocolate chips -unsweetened cocoa powder -mini marshmallows -vanilla extract You also can make hot chocolate from a simple packet, or choose not to make hot chocolate.
