Throughout our time together, we will cover a math concept such as: telling time, using a calendar, multiplication, division, fractions, or money. We will have basic fact practice time, large concept lesson time, inquiry based questions to bring math into the real world, and number-sense skills where students will learn to think like a mathematician! Class will be laid out as follows: Welcome and chat Basic Fact Warmup Math Concept Real-World Application Goodbye! June 3 Repeated Addition & Multiplication June 10 Measurement, Perimeter & Area June 17 Fractions & Simple Division June 24 Telling Time & Elapsed Time June 31 Using Money & Skip Counting

Students will be exposed to math topics each week and build their skills in each area.
