Students will experience the benefits of a regular yoga and meditation practice. Their internal and external strength and flexibility—as well as their overall wellness—can be expected to build over time.
I have been practicing yoga for more than 5 years, and I became certified as a trauma-informed yoga teacher in 2018. I have been working with children and teens in a wide range of capacities for around 20 years.
Yogis should have an open area of the floor or ground with enough space to lie down and spread out, and it's wise to have water within reach. Nothing else is required, although blankets; pillows; and a strap, scarf, or long towel may be beneficial, and sometimes we may practice near a wall to encourage a different experience of the poses.

Please reach out to me if this is your teen's first time practicing yoga and/or if he or she (or you) has any concerns of which you would like me to be aware. I have been trained to teach yoga so that anyone who wishes to participate will reap its benefits, and I offer modifications and advancements for the poses throughout class. Yoga truly is for everyone!
